P@SHA IDCJ IT Skills Survey Report 2021 is an “exploratory study”, jointly conducted by P@ASHA and IDCJ, to gauge the existing skill levels in the major functional areas of the IT sector of Pakistan relevant to the work requirements of the Japanese IT market. The report aims to find the current status and the gap in the existing skills being employed in the IT sector.
The report performed an in-depth analysis of the technical skill levels in specific areas of interest such as software development, data science, and cloud management services. The report includes comparisons of the certifications and training scenarios, various trends of the skill data, and soft skills prevalent in the IT sector. The analysis will aid in forming a basis for finding future training needs and a detailed capacity-building plan for the employed resources in the IT sector.
