Responsibilities:
- Support Brands Department to coordinate all events and activities and conduct short- and long-term planning and management for events
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing event logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
- Make invitation calls and manage RSVP tracking for attendee.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate event-related data in spreadsheets or databases.
- Collaborate with the team to manage event-related communications and materials.
- Research and identify opportunities for international collaborations and delegations, and assist in preparation and coordination efforts.
- Create content strategies and materials for digital and traditional marketing platforms to increase brand visibility.
- Manage the organization’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
Skills Required:
- Prior experience in events management
- Build relationships to grow industry awareness
- Experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, twitter etc
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage
- Excellent problem solving, critical and strategic thinking.
- Pro-active with a self-starting work approach
- Must be adaptable to changes and able to work under pressure
Education/Eligibility:
- 3+ years of experience in events management, marketing, or social media
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations and public administration
- Proficiency in using tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, and social media management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
