Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITES (P@SHA) organized a training session on “Project Management” in collaboration with Arpatech on March 28, 2014.
The speaker was Mohammad Raheel Siddiqui, Manager PMO from Advanced Research Projects and Technologies (Arpatech) (Pvt.) Limited whose core areas of expertise were IT Service Management, Project Management (PMI and Agile), Vendor Management, Business Process Reengineering, ITIL Implementation and Business Continuity Management.
A graduate in Applied Business Computing from University of Northumbria, UK, Raheel Siddiqui talked about the significance of “Ethics” in Project Management and workplace during the two hour session. He shared some useful case studies with the audience to make the session more interesting via simple examples related to project management.
The trainer further explained the PMI Code of Conduct in a meticulous manner where he talked about four quintessential elements related to ethics – Respect, Responsibility, Fairness and Honesty.
In conclusion, Raheel highlighted the basic lessons to ethically conduct project management as a professional.
