Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES (P@SHA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Incubation Center, Peshawar on Saturday 13th January 2018 at the inaugural ceremony of the Peshawar NIC.
Honorable Prime Minister Shahid Khakan Abbasi was the chief guest at the occasion while Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Minister of IT&T Anusha Rahman and Minister of Information Maryam Aurangzeb were also present.
P@SHA will organize technical assistance programs for the startups of NIC through interaction with the industry. The technical assistance would have a broad scope of technologies, however, the special focus would be on the disruptive technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution which include, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics and Automation, Cloud Computing, Virtual Reality, Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
The NIC will benefit from the vast established industry network of local and international mentors, coaches and ex patriots who bring their experience from the best global products and services. The valuable advice of seasoned entrepreneurs and mentors can help young professionals explore new business possibilities, transforming their businesses into sustainable ventures. The MoU will give NIC start-ups access to investors from the CXO forum of P@SHA.
P@SHA will also be holding joint events at the NIC Peshawar to encourage entrepreneurship and promote technology driven ventures. With the trusted team of PTCL and LMKT running the NIC Peshawar we are confident technology driven startups will find better solutions for our problems. The NIC Peshawar will become the hub of technology enthusiasts, forming new partnerships, alliances and businesses for the ecosystem.
