Functional Consultant is required to align business with technology by estimating its technical implications.

Internally, functional consultant helps technical team to understand business as well as technology required in solving business problems. Functional Consultant is heavily involved in pre- sales performing technical sales and devises solution for different problems with consultation with technical teams, However ever the ideal candidate should have enough technical knowledge to work independently.

Skills Required
Experience: 3-5 Year

Qualification: BS/BBA-IT/ MIS from a reputable University. Masters will be preferred.

Other Requirements:

Understanding of business work flows
Technology understanding (major platforms and trends)
Business Understanding
Excellent communications skills
Good technical skills. Preferable programming experience
Ability to work in high stress environment
Ability to find a solution to business problems.
Knowledge of development processes and best practices (like CMMi, ISO 9600)
Sound understanding of Software development Life Cycle (exp; RUP, UP, XP, Agile)
Understanding of core application development processes (exp; Release Management Process, Build version, Testing etc.).
