Pakistan Innovation Foundation, in partnership with P@SHA and Ilm Ideas, is pleased to announce the first of its series of day-long training sessions for the Product Development Bootcamp of the Ilm Apps Challenge – Pakistan’s largest Learning Innovation Lab.
The second of these sessions titled: “Understanding Young Learners: An Educational Pedagogy Workshop” will focus on Understanding Learning Theories and Educational Psychology to build capability of software developers and content designers to build better e-learning and m-learning platforms geared towards the needs of their target customers.
The session in Lahore is from 09:30-17:00 hrs on Aug 9, 2014 (Sat) and is being hosted by School of Sciences and Engineering (SSE) at LUMS. Deadline for Registration 5pm on Friday (Aug 8).
The session in Islamabad is from 09:30-17:00 hrs on Aug 10, 2014 (Sun) and is being hosted by Institute of Innovative Technologies in Education (ITE) at SEECS (NUST). Deadline for Registration 7pm on Friday (Aug 8).
The Workshops are being facilitated by Dr. Afshan Huma (PhD in Education from University of Michigan, Diploma in Learning from Institute of Education, University of London, Masters in Education Planning and Management) an expert in Educational Pedagogy and Curriculum Development at AIOU and Idara-Taleem-o-Agahi.
Besides the IlmAppsChallenge Contestants, these sessions are open to professionals and students seeking to upgrade and hone their skills for carrying out user research and creating more effective platforms and content.
P@SHA members are being offered a special discount of 25% on the single-day registration fee. Discounts of 15% are also available for multiple participants from the same entity / company.
