CureMD recently announced the acquisition of 3400 Navinet EMR and Practice Management (PM) providers in New York and Boston on March 21, 2013. The partnership originally started in 2010 with thousands of providers selecting Navinet EMR and PM for its simplicity, enterprise-grade functionality and affordability.
Under the agreement, CureMD was managing the development, implementation, training and support for all customers. During the busiest phase, the CureMD team was managing 60 implementations a day with over 25% of the customers using data migration services. Meanwhile, CureMD’s fast track Meaningful Use program helped hundreds of providers as well.
On this occasion, Kamal Hashmat, CEO at CureMD said, “The acquisition of Navinet providers will help us expand our market share along with an opportunity to provide greater value to our customers.” He further commented, “This year has already become the most exciting for the CureMD team, as we have achieved a record growth and completed three major acquisitions.”
Earlier in the month, CureMD unveiled innovative EMR technology at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Annual Meeting (HIMSS) in New Orleans. Former President, Bill Clinton was also present at the event and he admired CureMD’s role in making healthcare more affordable and transparent.
